B. J. Palmer The Developer of Chiropractic Born: September 14, 1882 Bartlett Joshua Palmer was the author of 39 volumes and many more pamphlets mostly pertaining to Chiropractic. He invented and patented many devices still in use today. He is credited with making Chiropractic a profession. He defined the 33 principles of Chiropractic including the use of the term "Innate Intelligence" as it applies to health and healing.
